Training Course in Portugal on Sustainable Living and Healthy Eating

Where: Arrouquelas and Rio Maior, Portugal.

This training course is dedicated to youth workers who want to deepen their knowledge and skills in the field of sustainable living, plant-based diets, and youth engagement through local and European projects. The project will focus on sustainable food practices, the environmental impact of dietary choices, and the farm-to-fork strategy in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Objectives of the training:

  • Equip youth workers with tools to promote healthy and sustainable eating habits among young people

  • Strengthen European values through intercultural learning and cooperation

  • Build practical skills in communication, advocacy, and project planning related to sustainability

  • Encourage active participation in local communities through awareness-raising activities

Who can apply:

  • Youth workers working with young people with fewer opportunities, especially in rural areas

  • Individuals interested in sustainability and healthy lifestyle promotion

  • Participants who can communicate in English and are ready to attend the full training course

  • Eligible countries: EU Member States and Erasmus+ associated countries

  • Costs: Travel, accommodation, and meals are covered by the Erasmus+ programme according to its rules
